Beaumont police believe a reported kidnapping last week may have been a hoax. A 24-year
old woman and her 7-year old daughter were reportedly kidnapped last week by two masked
men. They were found unharmed a few hours later. Police believe it was a set up in attempt
to get money. The investigation continues.
