Pellets on a conveyor belt led to a fire at the Port of Port Arthur yesterday afternoon. The
pellets were being transferred from a silo at the port to a ship when they ignited. Firefighters
were able to contain the fire to that location. There were no injuries and the impact of the fire
is not expected to impact production at the port.
