A traffic stop led to an arrest on drug and weapon charges. Jefferson County narcotic officers
stopped 36-year old Kevin Lee Husband and found a small amount of marijuana, a handgun,
and $5,000 cash. After receiving a search warrant to his Beaumont home, suspected
methamphetamine, a handgun, drug paraphernalia, and a commercial money counter were
found inside the residence. Husband’s bonds total $30,000.
