Protestors will be out again along Bolivar Peninsula today. They are upset with Galveston
County officials, who last week voted to close and fill Rollover Pass to help control beach
erosion. Residents and visitors have been using Rollover Pass for fishing for years. Galveston
County used eminent domain to take the land around Rollover Pass. Protestors are expected to
line the highway today and again tomorrow.
