Three arrests have been made in connection with the kidnapping of an Orange County attorney.
Jim Sharon Bearden Jr. was forced from his home near Bridge City last week and driven to a
Port Arthur bank where he was ordered to remove money from his account. Three undocumented
immigrants from Hounduras were arrested this past Friday and confessed to the crime. 19-year
old German Borjas-Benetiz, 17-year old Henrry Rivera-Antunez, and 17-year old Erick
Bustillo All three have been charged with a 1st degree felony burglary, which carries a higher
penalty than kidnapping.
