Port Arthur police are investigating a stabbing. Police were called to a disturbance at the
Joe Louis Apartments last night and when they arrived, they found a 31-year old woman with a
stab wound to the back. She was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont
where she underwent surgery. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
