Beaumont police are investigating a shooting that left an 8-year old girl hospitalized.
The girl was crossing the street near at the intersection of Pipkin and Avenue A when
someone started firing shots striking the 8-year old in the leg. She was transported to
Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital where she was listed in stable condition. An arrest has
not been made. Anyone with any information is asked to call Southeast Texas Crime
