Beaumont police have released the name of a man that was killed in a one-vehicle wreck on
the service road near the I-10/Eastex Freeway interchange. A SUV left the roadway and struck
a tree. The driver of the vehicle, 26-year old Carlos Enrique Delatorre of Port Arthur, was
transported to the hospital where he died. A passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The investigation into the fatality continues.
