The investigation into Tuesday night’s fatal shooting in Vidor continues. 46-year old Gregory
Paul Goldsmith, of Vidor, was shot and killed in the 100 block of Carla Street. The 18-year old
shooter, the boyfriend of Goldsmith’s stepdaughter, is cooperating with police. He is claiming
self-defense. An arrest has not been made at this time.
