The city of Port Arthur has begun the process of bringing home residents who were evacuated
to other regions in Texas following Tropical Storm Harvey. Residents are being brought to the
Bob Bowers Civic Center where tents are set up as shelters. If residents have alternative living
arrangements, they are asked to have transportation pick them up at the civic center upon
arrival.
