Appeals Court Rules Woman Will Remain In Prison

The 13th Court of Appeals has affirmed the sentences of Christine Johnson, who was sentenced

to a total of 65 years in prison for charges relating to injury of a child. She was convicted and

sentenced two years ago. Johnson’s daughter, one-month old Baby Faith, sustained over 40

fractures to various parts of her body. Johnson and Baby Faith’s father, Darrell Mason, were

both arrested for her injuries. Johnson will remain behind bars. Mason is currently serving a

25 year sentence.
