A 74-year old Beaumont man injured in a weekend house fire has died from his injuries.
Charles Watson died yesterday at a Galveston hospital. He was trapped in a bedroom of
a home in the 9400 block of Riggs Sunday morning. Several other family members were
able to escape from the burning home. The fire started in the garage area of the home. The
cause has not been determined.
