Beaumont police are investigating a Sunday evening shooting. Officers responded to the M & M Express at 1397 Washington. The 57 year old victim from Beaumont was standing outside the store and speaking with an employee. They heard several gunshots and looked to see where they were coming from. The victim then realized that he was struck. The victim and witnesses did not know where the shots came from. Detectives are interviewing any witnesses that were in the area.
