Testimony is underway in the intoxication manslaughter trial of a Port Arthur woman.
Vanessa Davis is charged with the July 2015 death of Pamela Fields. Prosecutors say
Davis was under the influence of drugs when she crashed her car on Gulfway Drive killing
Fields. A third person that was in the car is expected to testify during the trial. The trial is
taking place at the Jefferson County Courthouse in Beaumont.
