The DPS has released the names of two people that were killed in an early morning wreck in
western Jefferson County. 38-year old Thad Douglas, of Beaumont, was driving westbound
near FM 365 when he lost control of his car. The left the roadway and rolled over. Douglas
and a passenger, 31-year old Jamie Brown also of Beaumont, were both pronounced dead at
the scene.
