Gas prices are slightly down from last week. The average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur
area dropped a penny to $2.33 a gallon. The statewide average in Texas is down two cents
to $2.34. Today’s national average for a gallon of gas is $2.59, which is down a penny. These
