Beaumont police are investigating a shooting. The victim, a 36-year old Beaumont woman,
told police she was in her car last night in the 2200 block of Earl when her 40-year old
boyfriend fired several shots towards her. She was hit twice and drove to the area of Tulane
and St. Helena and called police. She was treated and released with non-life threatening gunshot
wounds. Police are searching for the shooter.
