A Louisiana man is jailed in Jefferson County. Deputies were called to a home on Thousand
Oaks in Bevil Oaks this week about a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of a detached
garage. Items had been stacked inside the garage. 36-year old Karl Phillip Galland, of
LaCombe Louisiana, was arrested for trespassing. While searching him, deputies found a
Jefferson County Emergency Service District credit card that had been reported missing
in January while firefighters were fueling up at a local business. Once at the jail, Galland was
found to be in possession of Hyrdocodone. He is facing multiple charges.
