Beaumont police are looking for two men that tried to rob a fast food restaurant this morning.
An employee unlocked the door of the McDonalds at I-10 & Laurel to let out an off-duty
employee. At that time, two men wearing sunglasses and bandannas over their faces, forced
their way inside the building. One of the suspects stood by the employee while the other
suspect attempted to rob the restaurant. They fled the scene after they were unable to locate
money. Nobody was hurt. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Southeast Texas
