WWII Remains Identified As Beaumont Soldier

The remains of a Beaumont soldier, who went missing during World War II have been

identified. It is believed 20-year old Army Sgt.  James K Park died in action in 1944. The

remains were buried in Belgium. The remains were disinterred last year and were identified

as Park’s in June. A burial for Park will be on Saturday in Navarro County, near Corsicana.
