A 19-year old Beaumont man has been indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury in connection
with the death of a 1-year old girl. Troy Delano Cheek Jr. is charged with injury to a child. He
was watching Namoi Nabors this past March when the child fell off a bed and hit her head.
Cheek admitted he had left the room to play video games when the child fell.
