An arrest has been made in connection with an accidental deadly shooting in Buna. 19-year
old Anthony McGowan, who brought a gun to the home on Christmas afternoon, is charged
with theft of a firearm. A 10-year old accidentally fired a gun striking 15-year old James
Johnson, who later died at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. No charges will
be filed against the 10-year old.
