Texas Students Will Return To Classroom

The Texas Education Agency announced yesterday that public education will resume in-person classes this upcoming fall. Commissioner Mike Morath said it will be safe for students, teachers, and staff to return to campuses, adding that there will be flexibility for families with health concerns so that their children can be educated remotely. Officials say masks will not be mandated for students, but school districts will have the authority to require them.
