The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is reportedly investigating Tequila’s Mexican
Bar & Grill on Memorial Drive in Port Arthur. It is believed 18-year old Louis Torres may
have been consuming alcohol at the restaurant prior to him driving the wrong way on Highway
69 in Beaumont crashing and killing Officer Sheena Yarbrough-Powell and critically injuring
Officer Gabriel Fells. If violations occurred, the restaurant could lose it license and be fined.
