Staff meteorologist Greg Bostwick reports that as of 1:00 this afternoon Hurricane Laura had
developed into a Category 4 storm with winds as high as 140 mph. The storm is projected to
make landfall around 1:00 Thursday morning between Sabine Pass and Johnson Bayou. A storm
