50 And Older Now Eligible For Vaccines Statewide

Any Texan over 50 will be eligible to get the coronavirus vaccine as of today. Up until now, those over 65 have been eligible. About seven-million doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered statewide. About eight-and-a-half percent of the state's population is fully vaccinated. The latest phase of age eligibility comes as the state's pandemic restrictions were lifted last week.
