A man accused of inappropriately using his cell phone to video a woman has been indicted by
the Jefferson County grand jury for invasive visual recording. This past October, a woman
contacted Beaumont police telling them the incident occurred at Marshall’s in Beaumont. The
investigation led detectives to 35-year old Larry Wayne Mayfield Jr. of Beaumont. His cell
phone was confiscated and images were found on the phone.
