Bond has been set on a Beaumont murder suspect. Justice of the Peace Ben Collins has set a $1
million bond on 36-year old Bryant Keith Thomas. He is accused of Sunday’s shooting death of
47-year old Herbert Bendy III. The shooting occurred at the Excellent Carwash in the 5000 block
of Haden. The two men had an ongoing dispute.
