Gas prices in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area are up six cents from last week. This morning’s
average price for a gallon is $2.88. A year ago the average price was $1.89 a gallon.The
statewide average is $2.89, which is up seven cents. Triple A Texas reports the national average
is up seven cents to $3.26 a gallon.
