Chambers County officials are investigating the discovery of possible human remains in south
Anahuac. Deputies responded on Thursday to a report that somebody had found the remains.
Investigators say the remains are likely human because there are trauma screws in one of the leg
bones. Crime scene technicians probed the area to see if more remains or possible evidence
would turn up. Anybody who knows of a missing person who had a serious leg injury is asked to
contact the Chambers County Sheriff's Office.
