Beaumont police have released the name of a homicide victim. 42-year old Juan Salazar, of
Beaumont, was shot and killed Saturday night in the area of San Jacinto and Wall Street. Police
responded to the area after receiving a call of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found the
body of Salazar in the street. Anyone with any information on the homicide is asked to call
