Woman Setenced To Probation For Hit And Fun Fatality

A Beaumont woman that pleaded guilty to striking and killing a man with her car and leaving

then scene has been placed on 10 years probation. In April of last year, 70-year old Russell

Guillory was struck by a vehicle as he walked along Major Drive in Beaumont. The driver

left the scene. An investigation led police to Shelby Marie Douglas. She was sentenced to the

probation today by Judge Raquel West.
