A 22-year old Port Arthur man has been sentenced to life in prison for violating his probation. In
July of 2019, Jovan Neveaux was placed on 10 years probation for two aggravated robberies. He
was also sentenced six months jail time. While on probation, Neveaux and three others kicked in
a door of an apartment. 26-year old Jaylon Howard was shot and killed during the robbery. He
appeared in front of Judge John Stevens Wednesday and was sentenced to life in prison.
