Chevron Phillips has announced the construction of a $8.5 billion integrated polymers facility to
be located in Orange. This is expected to create 500 full time jobs and 4,500 construction jobs.
The facility, that will be located near the current Chevron plant of FM 1006, is expected to create
an estimated $50 billion for the community it residual economic impact. Construction is
expected to begin immediately.
