On Friday, members of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed a search
warrant at a home in the 8600 block of Phelan in Beaumont. The search warrant was related
to a series of auto burglaries in the Hamshire-Fannett area of the county. Two suspects were
arrested. The suspects may be responsible for several recent auto burglaries.
