Charges have been filed against four juveniles that fled from Beaumont police in a stolen
car Saturday night. The car crashed and caught fire at 11th & Washington. Five occupants in the
car fled on foot and were captured. Two 16 year old males, a 16-year old female, and a 14-year
male are charged with engaging in criminal activity, evading in a motor vehicle, evading on foot,
resisting arrest, and criminal trespass. All four were transported to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile
Detention Center. A fifth person in the car, a 16-year old female was released. Charges are
pending against her.
