Investigators with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents in the Fannett area
that may have been a victim of an auto burglary to contact them. On Sunday, a 15-year old fled
from deputies in stolen vehicle and crashed at Washington and Fannett in Beaumont. Deputies
recovered two stolen handguns. The 15-year old, a Louisiana resident, was transported to the
Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center.
