(Daisetta, TX)-- A massive sinkhole that opened up in Liberty County 15-years ago appears to be growing again. The sinkhole is north of Hull-Daisetta High School and west of FM 770. In 2008, it grew overnight from a 20-foot hole in the ground to a crater 900-feet across and 260-feet deep. The sinkhole swallowed oil tanks, cars and telephone poles, and threatened buildings in the town of Daisetta. After it stabilized, it remained quiet until about 6 p.m. Sunday.
