Daylight Savings Time Year Round Passes In Texas House

(Austin, TX) -- Texas may be the next state to stop changing their clocks twice a year. A plan to stay on Daylight Saving Time has passed the State House. State Representative Will Metcalf is leading the charge. But even if his bill is passed, it would still be blocked by the federal government.U-S law allows states to remain on Standard Time, but does not allow them to switch to Daylight Saving Time year-round.
