Beaumont police are investigating an aggravated robbery in which the store clerk was shot in the hand by
the robber. It happened around 3:00 yesterday morning at the Shell Food Mart in the 19000 block of
Eastex Freeway. During the robbery the clerk grabbed a can of bear spray and sprayed to robber. The
robber fired shots at the clerk as he fled from the store. The suspect did not get any money. There are
