Silsbee police report a 17-year old died in a two-vehicle wreck this morning. The teen was turning off
of Highway 327 onto 21st Street and was struck on the passenger side by an oncoming truck. The
teen was pronounced dead at the scene. The police department has not released the name of the driver.
Silsbee’s ISD Facebook page is reporting the death of Jaquez Carter a junior at Silsbee High School.
