The SWAT team with the Port Arthur Police Department was called to a home in the 1200 block of
Lakeview Tuesday night when a 17-year old refused to come out of a house following a disturbance.
After about two hours, the teen attempted to flee on foot and was arrested. 17-year old Shan Symon
is accused of stabbing his mother prior to police arriving. The stab wound is not life threatening. Symon
is facing multiple charges.
