Inmate Attacks Correctional Officers

An inmate at the Jefferson County jail that was placed on probation Monday for felony theft and was

getting ready to be released is staying in jail. 17-year old Alijah Gill is accused of attacking two correction

officers at the jail. One of the officers is listed in critical condition at a Houston hospital. Following the

attacks, Judge John Stevens set Gill’s bond at $250,000 for aggravated assault on a public servant.
