A homeowner shot a burglar in his house just past midnight. Police were called to the home in the 5300
block of Wildwood. Officers were advised of the shooting and found the suspect unresponsive on the
bathroom floor. An officer was instrumental in saving the suspect’s life by using his tourniquet to render
aide. The suspect was transported to the hospital. He is expected to survive and be charged. No charges
have been filed against the homeowner.
