An online investigation by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Beaumont police, and the FBI revealed
a human trafficking operation where individuals were searching online sex and phone aps for males and
females, some underaged, to engage in sexual relations. Seven arrests were made after they agreed to
show up at local motel rooms where they thought they were meeting people for sex they met online.
