A New York man found to be in possession of a multi-caliber rifle withing 1,000 feet of a Beaumont
school has pleaded guilty to federal firearms violations. 26-year old Ahmad Abdalla Allam was parked
near St Anthony’s Basilica School on Forsythe Street this past January. Allam was also in possession of
a 30 round magazine and 150 rounds of ammunition. He faces up to five years in federal prison following
the guilty plea.
