Two are dead following a head-on collision in Tyler County. The DPS reports 46-year old Marlon
McDaniel and 45-year old Hollis McDaniel, both of Woodville, died when a vehicle crossed into
their lane of traffic on Highway 69 yesterday afternoon. The driver of the vehicle that crossed into
their lane, 61-year old Don Houston of Lufkin, is hospitalized.
