Multiple school districts, including Beaumont, Port Arthur, Lumberton, Vidor, Port
Neches-Groves, Nederland, Silsbee, and Nederland are closed today. You can go to
your district’s social media page for information. All Lamar campuses across
Southeast Texas are closed.
At last report the Rainbow and Veteran Memorial bridges between Bridge City and
Port Arthur remained closed.
All County offices in Jefferson and Hardin counties will open at 10:00 this morning.
All non-emergency offices in Orange County will be closed today.
Warming stations are set up at the Salvation Army and Some Other place in
Beaumont and at the Orange Church of God Embassy of Grace on North 16th St.
Warming stations are set up in Port Arthur. In Beaumont, city buses are available
to transport citizens to the warming stations.
