Three Persons Of Interest In Beaumont Homicide

Beaumont police now want to talk to three people they consider persons of interest in the

February 2nd death of 17-year old Luis Mitchell, who was shot and killed on the front porch

of a home in the 1000 block of Campus. Detectives want to speak with 63-year old Melvin Jerome

Watson, 18-year old Latravion Roberts, and 17-year old Chardion Parker about the homicide.

Watson also has five felony warrants for possession of a controlled substance, Roberts has a

resisting warrant out of Harris County, and Parker has an evading warrant in Harris County. All the

warrants are unrelated to the homicide of Mitchell. Anyone with information on these persons of
