The cause of a fire at a manufacturing plant east of Lumberton is under investigation. Firefighters were
called to the plant on Wingfield yesterday afternoon. Chemicals were reported to be inside the facility.
Lumberton firefighters were assisted by Silsbee and Beaumont departments at the scene. There were no
injuries.
